A new audiobook recording of Dracula dropped on Audible yesterday, starring Jonathan Bailey as Dracula and Ella Purnell, from Fallout, as Mina. And apparently, the internet was not prepared for what happened in the recording booth.
A behind-the-scenes clip of Jonathan and Ella has gone viral, and let’s just say… women are feeling things. Even Snooki had to chime in, writing, “Oh wow I need to turn my volume down I look like a creep.”
Same, girl. Same.
The comments are absolutely unhinged in the best way. Multiple people joked that the clip had somehow gotten them pregnant, while another person perfectly summed up the experience by saying, “This is on the Entertainment Tonight page but, somehow I feel like I stumbled into somewhere I shouldn’t be . . . I’m still here though!”
Honestly? That might be the most accurate description of watching this video.
And here’s the funny part: Jonathan recently told Collider that he actually recorded his Dracula parts alone. He even created his own sound effects, including the sounds of drinking blood.
His explanation is somehow both hilarious and completely believable: “A whole childhood of making noises and sounds alone up in my room, and I finally found a place to put them to good use.”
Well, Jonathan… I think we can all agree that childhood preparation paid off.
