If you’ve been waiting for Travis Kelce to finally spill something about his wedding to Taylor Swift… well, Swifties, we got a little something! 👀💍
While speaking with reporters at Kansas City Chiefs training camp Wednesday, Travis was asked about his and Taylor’s star-studded wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden. And honestly, his answer was exactly the kind of low-key, adorable response we probably should’ve expected from him.
“It was a fun off-season, man,” he began, smiling. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s all I really got from that night.”
Okay, Travis. The best night of your life?! 🥹
He added, “It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”
Travis also casually dropped the words Swifties have been waiting to hear: “my wife.” ❤️
When he was asked what it meant to get married at Madison Square Garden, Travis explained that playing there had always been a childhood dream.
“I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking,” he said. “My wife went when I was stuck in training camp. I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.”
He continued, “It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues. To be able get married there. I thanked the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event, and it was perfect.”
And apparently, even the air conditioning made an impression.
Travis wrapped up by revealing that the “AC was cooking” during the New York heatwave when he and Taylor said “I do.”
Swift and Kelce reportedly tied the knot in front of hundreds of family members and friends in New York on July 3.
