SPOKANE, Wash. — This Valentine’s Day, Meals on Wheels Spokane is giving the community a chance to share something sweet while supporting homebound seniors.
The nonprofit has partnered with Christ Kitchen to bring back its popular “Cinn-A-Grams,” a homemade cinnamon roll package that helps fund meal services. Each purchase provides nine meals for seniors in need and supports the women at Christ Kitchen.
Cinn-A-Grams can be delivered to a loved one on Valentine’s Day or picked up in person. Customers also have the option to send a treat to a homebound senior.
“They’re excited when their meal comes every day—imagine how much more excited they are when they see some amazing cinnamon rolls and things like that,” said Owen Esperas, executive director of Meals on Wheels Spokane.
Orders must be placed by Sunday for Valentine’s Day delivery. Organizers urge customers to act quickly, as the treats sell out each year. You can find more information at the Meals on Wheels website.
