COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Get ready to “plant” for the future! The City of Coeur d’Alene is offering free tree planting through its Re-Leaf Program.
Applications for the program open February 5 and homeowners can get trees planted at no-cost to help enhance neighborhoods like stormwater mitigation and pollution reduction.
Homeowners must be willing to provide care to the trees like watering,
The available species include Forest Pansy Redbud, Spring Snow Crabapple, Chanticleer Pear, and Crimson Spire Oak.
The deadline to apply is March 21 and trees will be planted in April.
