FERRY COUNTY, Wash. — Some roads have reopened from the Swawilla Fire burning on the Colville Reservation.
According to the Incident Management Team, Rebecca Lake Road and Buffalo Lake Road have reopened on the west side of the fire south of Nespelem.
Firefighters say there is still a checkpoint at Peter Dan Cutoff and Buffalo Lake Road.
The Roosevelt High School evacuation center in Coulee Dam is closing Sunday, but a pet and livestock-friendly evacuation center is now available at the Ferry County Fairgrounds in Republic.
