This day, celebrated on the second Saturday of January, is all about setting goals in a visual and inspiring way. Since I’ve already created my vision board for this year, I wanted to share my goals with you and, hopefully, inspire you to create your own.
Creating a vision board is easier than ever. I made mine using Canva, which I highly recommend for its simplicity and user-friendly tools. If digital isn’t your thing, you can always turn to Pinterest for inspiration or go the traditional route with a poster board, markers, and magazine clippings.
Here are the main themes of my vision board for 2025:
Family
This year, I want to prioritize quality family time. We live in a big house with my parents, siblings, and their families, but I want to focus more on connecting with my husband and kids in meaningful ways.
Marriage
With our youngest turning one soon, it feels like the perfect time to invest more energy into my marriage. Date nights, shared hobbies, and intentional time together are big goals for us this year.
Travel
We’re planning a summer trip to San Diego to visit family and friends, and I can’t wait to make those memories together.
Health
After nearly four years in a baby/postpartum fog, I finally feel ready to focus on my own health. That means staying hydrated, fueling my body with nutritious food, and carving out time for self-care—like reading, which is a big goal of mine this year.
Fitness
My focus on fitness is less about appearance and more about overall health—both mental and physical. I’m aiming to establish a consistent routine that’s sustainable and realistic, without putting too much pressure on myself.
Remember: if you’re not changing it, you’re choosing it. Take some time to reflect on what you want out of this year—you deserve it!
