SPOKANE, Wash. — Northwest Winterfest offers more than just dazzling holiday displays—it’s a celebration of the diverse cultures that shape the Inland Northwest. The family-friendly festival runs weekends at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center now through New Year’s Eve.
“You cannot find this type of experience anywhere in the Inland Northwest in the wintertime,” said Sam Song, co-organizer of Northwest Winterfest.
Visitors can explore dozens of authentically crafted lighted lanterns, each designed to reflect the traditions of the winter season. The displays showcase holidays and cultural celebrations from around the globe, offering a magical experience for attendees of all ages.
As a nonprofit, Northwest Winterfest ensures the event is accessible to everyone, with a special focus on children. “We want to make this such a special experience for kids,” Song said. “So kids ten and under are all free to come over to enjoy this festival.”
The festivities also feature live performances, with local musicians like Jerry- Rigged and The Humes taking center stage. “We’re honored to be a part of this festival. This is our second year doing this, and people should really come check it out. It is truly spectacular,” said Jerry of Jerry-Rigged and The Humes.
Northwest Winterfest runs every weekend through New Year’s Eve at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center. For tickets and more infomation, you can visit the Northwest Winterfest website.
