SPOKANE, Wash. — The holiday season is in full swing as Christmas Tree Elegance, a 13-day annual event hosted by the Spokane Symphony Associates, makes its return.
Running from the Tuesday after Thanksgiving into December, the event features a raffle of elaborately decorated, themed Christmas trees displayed at the Historic Davenport Hotel and River Park Square.
The 2023 event marked a record-breaking year, with 462,529 raffle tickets sold. Volunteers dedicated 11 months of planning to bring the festive fundraiser to life.
Generous donations from individuals and businesses create tree displays, each valued at up to $4,999, complete with decorations and prizes.
Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased and entered at both locations during business hours — River Park Square (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and the Historic Davenport Hotel (10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on most days).
Participants must be at least 18 years old to buy tickets.
