PULLMAN, Wash. — A two-car crash is blocking westbound traffic on Highway 270 at milepost 9 near Airport Rd, seven miles east of Pullman.
According to the Washington State Patrol, an elderly woman driver was killed during the crash, while the driver and passenger in the other car were not injured.
The closure began at 3:17 PM and will remain in effect until further notice.
WSP said, westbound traffic is currently blocked, but eastbound traffic is fully open.
According to WSP, estimated road reopening time is 5 hours. Please use an alternate route.
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is on scene setting up detour onto Airport Road.
