SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s always a good day for a fresh coffee, especially when the money for that coffee is going toward a good cause.
Every first Friday of the month, Indaba Coffee donates 10% if its proceeds to a local non-profit.
This Friday, it close Family Promise of Spokane.
“We help to prevent families that are at risk of becoming homeless from becoming homeless, and then we get families with children rehoused if they do become homeless. That’s exactly what this money goes toward,” said Joe Ader, the executive director of Family Promise.
Ader said community support and awareness is huge in helping end the crisis of homelessness for families.
In December, Indaba will be helping the KXLY Broadcast Group radio stations help families in need this holiday season.
