SEATTLE — The Seahawks held the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs without a touchdown Sunday night, winning 20-3 at Lumen Field behind a strong defensive performance and a big game from Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

After a scoreless first quarter, Jason Myers put Seattle on the board with a 25-yard field goal. Sam Darnold then found Smith-Njigba for a 28-yard touchdown late in the second quarter, giving the Seahawks a 10-0 halftime lead.
Myers added a 35-yard field goal in the third. Kansas City answered with its only points of the night—a 50-yard field goal by Harrison Butker—but never got closer. Emanuel Wilson sealed the win with a 21-yard touchdown run with 3:47 remaining.
Smith-Njigba finished with nine catches for 150 yards and a touchdown. Darnold completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Wilson added 100 rushing yards and a score on 24 carries.
Seattle also controlled the pace of the game, converting 11 of 16 third downs and holding the ball for nearly 36 minutes. For the Chiefs, former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for 36 yards on 14 carries.
The win was Seattle’s third at home this season—and Kansas City’s first defeat anywhere.
