Three years after The Exorcist franchise hit a major setback, the iconic horror series is getting another shot at scaring us, this time with Mike Flanagan at the helm and Scarlett Johansson leading the cast.
The first teaser for The Exorcist: Martyrs is here, promising a fresh take on one of horror’s most legendary franchises.
Johansson plays Julie Miller, an NYPD homicide detective investigating a killer known as Father Sunday, played by John Leguizamo. The case takes a terrifying turn when a priest played by Chiwetel Ejiofor becomes involved, and a new wave of killings puts Miller’s 12-year-old son, played by Jacobi Jupe, in danger.
With Mike Flanagan behind the camera, horror fans will definitely want to keep this one on their radar.
