Tuesday brings cool temperatures and mountain showers before a warming trend begins Wednesday.
A weather system will move through the Pacific Northwest, bringing cloudy skies through Tuesday night. This will bring an isolated chance for showers and thunderstorms north of I-90. Rain chances in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area are only 10 to 20 percent. Temperatures remain cool as a result, with highs only reaching the mid 60s.
A warming trend starts Wednesday as temperatures climb into the mid 70s. Our next weather disturbance arrives Thursday night, bringing a 20 to 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and gusty winds to southeast Washington and the central Idaho mountains. Temperatures continue to warm through the weekend.
