SPOKANE, Wash. — A 3-mile fun run this Friday will raise money for families who lost their homes in the Riverside state park fires.
One hundred percent of proceeds will go to the Innovia Foundation to help people who lost their homes. The event will have no timing, results or awards, with a water station at mile 2.
“It’s all about gathering as a community and fundraising some money for those in need,” organizers said.
The Phoenix 5K, hosted by the Innovia Foundation in partnership with lululemon and Ambassador Andy Le Friec, takes place August 29 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park, 507 North Howard Street.
