SPOKANE, Wash. — Fort Spokane Campground has re-opened to the public with some parts still closed following the fires in Spokane.
The sites that are still closed are 39, 40, 41, 50, and walk-in sites 64-68. These sites will remain closed for the foreseeable future due to fire damage and hazard trees. There is caution tape and closure signs where the campground is still closed.
The campground asks the public to only remain in open areas of the campground.
Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area remains in a fire ban, so Propane campfires, charcoal, and other open flames are prohibited.
