OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — UPDATE, 5:28 p.m. Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations have been expanded for a wildfire in Okanogan County.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, people living west of Conconully Road to Salmon Creek Road in Okanogan need to leave immediately.
Immediate evacuations are also in place for people living on Dry Coulee Road, East Dry Coulee Road and Woods Hill Road.
Okanogan County Emergency Management says the fire has crossed Danker Cut off Road going up Pogue Mountain.
The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter at Community Presbyterian Church, 9 South Birch Street in Omak. An animal evacuation shelter has been set up at the Okanogan County Fairgrounds.

According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, people living on Dry Coulee Road, East Dry Coulee Road and Woods Hill Road in Okanogan need to leave immediately.
There is currently a wildfire moving north towards Salmon Creek Road.
Emergency Management says do not wait for door-to-door contact, evacuate the area immediately.
Salmon Creek Road from Okanogan to Spring Coulee is closed. Spring Coulee From B & O Road to Salmon Creek is also closed.
Emergency management says the Okanogan County fairgrounds is currently open for evacuated animals. The American Red Cross is currently working on a location for an evacuation shelter.
