SPOKANE, Wash. — The final stage of the West Francis Avenue and 9 Mile Road construction project is set to begin on Monday.
The city of Spokane says during this stage, southbound 9 Mile Road will be reduced to one lane between Wind River Road and Rifle Club Road. Northbound 9 Mile Road will have two lanes of traffic through the construction area.
9 Mile Road will be closed to pedestrians as well.
The city says this project will enhance infrastructure in the Northwest Terrace Area.
Work begins Monday and is expected to be completed by mid-May.
