MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said Hwy. 17 just south of Stratford Rd. was shut down in Moses Lake Thursday afternoon after a person was hit by a car.
Deputies say the person hit died from their injuries.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) was investigating the crash. It was not clear how the crash happened, or whether the driver would face charges.
