SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — UPDATE: The missing woman has been found safe.
Original story:
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing woman who has not been seen since Thursday night.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the woman traveled to Spokane for the week for work-related training and was staying at a hotel on South Geiger Boulevard near I-90.
The family member that reported her missing said they spoke with her on Thursday, but all attempts to contact her since have been unsuccessful.
Hotel staff then told the Sheriff’s Office that she had not checked out at her scheduled time on Friday. Her belongings were still found in the room.
The Sheriff’s Office said surveillance footage captured video of someone they believe to be the woman walking along South Geiger Boulevard in front of the gas station just before 8 p.m. on Thursday night.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
