KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire near Post Falls early Friday morning.
The call came in around 1:20 am, reporting that a house was on fire and people were possibly trapped inside.
Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies and Kootenai Fire and Rescue found the house in flames in the 1300 block of N. American Road.
Several people had gotten out of the house, but told deputies a woman was unaccounted for.
Firefighters found her at the back of the home and she transported to the hospital.
Fire investigators and deputies will try to determine the cause.
