SPOKANE, Wash. — A teen girl is facing robbery and theft charges for allegedly pepper spraying the owner of a downtown Spokane business while stealing from the shop.
SPD says McCauley reported a girl walked into the shop, stole a beanie, and quickly left. McCauley said he was pepper sprayed when he went outside to confront the girl and two males with her.
Police were able to get photos of the suspect and located the 16-year-old girl. The beanie was recovered and she was booked for 1st-degree robbery and 3rd-degree theft.
