MORAGA, Calif. — The Washington State men’s basketball team fell 88-82 to the Saint Mary’s Gaels.
The Gaels built a first-half lead to lead by 18 going into the break. The Cougars rallied in the second-half but it wasn’t enough to beat the Saint Mary’s who remained undefeated in conference play.
Wazzu had three players land in double figures, Ace Glass led the way with 24 points.
WSU fell to 8-10 overall and will look ahead to host the eighth-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs on January 15 at 7 p.m.
