STEVENS PASS, Wash. — Snowy conditions have forced a contractor to pause repairs on Highway 2 at Stevens Pass, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Work will remain on hold Wednesday.
Highway 2 will open at 6 a.m. between Coles Corner and the summit, mileposts 85 to 99, without a pilot car.
The road is scheduled to close again at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
