SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Seattle Seahawks secured the NFC’s No. 1 seed, clinching the NFC West division title after knocking off the San Francisco 49ers 13-3.
Seattle’s defense dominated at Levi’s Stadium, limiting the 49ers to 173 yards, the fewest in a regular-season game under head coach Kyle Shanahan.
The Seahawks didn’t allow a first down in the entire first quarter, and only 9 total.
As for offense, the Hawks’ totaled 361 yards, and quarterback Sam Darnold threw 20/26 and 198 yards.
The single touchdown came from running back Zach Charbonnet for 27 yards in the first quarter, and Seattle’s rushing yards totaled to 180.
This game marked the seventh straight in the win column for Seattle, and they await the lowest-seeded Wild Card team in the Divisional Round at Lumen Field.
