Weather in the Inland Northwest will stay dry and cool today, but temperatures will start warming up as we close in on 2026.
Plan Your Monday
High pressure is in control, which will keep our weather calm today. We’ll be mostly cloudy today with sun filtered through the high cirrus. Highs will reach the low 30s. We’ll experience a chilly night again tonight before a warming trend begins tomorrow.
What We’re Tracking
The calm pattern continues through Wednesday with the possibility of some stagnant air. We’ll have to keep an eye on air quality. Temperatures will slowly rise through the week, hitting 40 degrees by Friday afternoon. As the new year approaches, clouds increase and wet weather returns on New Year’s Day. There is a possibility of freezing rain in Eastern Washington on Thursday and Friday due to the warmer air arriving while temperatures in the mornings sit at freezing. Chances for snow late this week will be limited to the mountains and near the Canada border.
