WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash. — A six-month-old baby and two adults from Moses Lake were killed in a crash on Christmas.
According to Washington State Patrol, a 22-year-old man from Benton City was driving west on State Route 12 about 22 miles west of Walla Walla around 5:15 p.m.
WSP says, for unknown reasons, the man hit a guardrail, overcorrected and hit an eastbound vehicle.
In the eastbound vehicle, a 34-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, Nashiely Bustamante, died at the scene. A six-month-old boy was taken to an area hospital where he later died. The man and woman were not wearing seatbelts.
WSP says charges are pending against the 22-year-old man and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
