SPOKANE, Wash. — Mayor Lisa Brown announced that flags will be lowered to half-staff at all City facilities this weekend in remembrance of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tara-Marysa Guting.
Trooper Guting was killed in the line of duty on Dec. 19 while investigating a crash in Tacoma.
The city says flags will be lowered on Friday, Dec. 26 and remain lowered through Monday, Dec. 29.
