Spokane, WASH. — A section of Washington Street between 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue on Spokane’s south side will be closed Tuesday while crews repair the roadway.
A broken water main break last week damaged the asphalt. Crews had to dig up the street to repair the water line.
The crews replaced the asphalt with concrete.
Detours are in place for northbound drivers. The detours guide drivers onto Bernard Street at 8th Avenue and then back onto Washington St. at 6th Ave.
Crews expect it to take only a day to make the repairs and reopen the road.
