POST FALLS, Idaho — A viral mystery causing concern in the Post Falls area has been solved.
This week, images circulated on social media showing an “alligator” in the Spokane River near Post Falls.
Avista and the Post Falls Police Department determined the critter was actually a plastic decoration that somehow ended up in the water.
