SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane will host a one-day music festival next summer, with a portion of the proceeds going to support Team Gleason.
The Spokane Facilities District announced the Blessing in Disguise Music Festival on July 11th.
It will be held at venues including ONE Spokane Stadium and The Podium.
The PFD did not announce any artists, but said they’ve confirmed about 75% of the artists so far and hope to announce the lineup in January.
Entertainment Director Matt Meyer said he expects the festival to bring in $2-3 million into the local economy.
One dollar of every ticket will benefit Team Gleason, the non-profit foundation started by Spokane native Steve Gleason. The organization works to improve the lives of those living with ALS.
Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday.
