SPOKANE, Wash — Hundreds of homes and businesses are without power Tuesday morning, largely due to 50+ mph winds we saw overnight.
As of 5:45 a.m., Avista is reporting 17 outages, mainly in North Idaho. 791 total homes and businesses are without power across the region.
One notable outage is in Spokane Valley. 221 customers are without power Near East Wellsley and North Evergreen. Avista is assessing the outage and estimates restoration at 6:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, Inland Power is reporting 5 outages impacting 117 homes and businesses.
One notable outage is in the Valleyford area. Crews are currently working to put back up a power pole that was knocked down overnight near East Connor Road and South Marshall Road.
According to Inland Power, 54 customers are affected by this outage, and it is expected to be resolved by 10 a.m.
