SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Spokane Valley Investigative Unit arrested a 13-time convicted felon after a months-long drug investigation, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives arrested 40-year-old Ryan L. Olson on Nov. 25 at his residence near the intersection of Lincoln Road and North Regal Street.
The investigation began in fall 2024 when SVIU identified Olson as selling large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, authorities said.
Olson had an extensive criminal history including identity theft, firearm possession, burglary, and trafficking stolen property, plus an active DOC escape warrant, according to the sheriff’s office.
During the search, detectives seized three firearms including a stolen pistol, hundreds of suspected fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, drug scales, $314 in cash, a stolen bicycle, and a stolen license plate, authorities said.
Olson faces multiple felony counts including unlawful firearm possession, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of stolen property.
He remains in Spokane County Jail with bond set at $190,000, according to jail records.
