GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A large storage building caught fire on Sunday morning, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 10:30 a.m. on October 5, GCSO said a large onion storage building caught fire near 1st Street North and North Country Road in Warden.
GCSO said the fire was “under control” and shared a photo of the storage facility with visible damage.
Around 11:30 a.m., GCSO said power lines were down not far from the facility, near Main Street and 1st Street.
Deputies said they were on the way to the area to cordon off the power lines and that people should avoid the area.
GCSO did not specify if the downed power lines are related to the storage building fire.
This is a developing story.
