COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — This Saturday, the Alzheimer’s Association is holdings its annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Riverstone Park Amphitheatre in Coeur d’Alene.
Participants will honor those impacted by Alzheimer’s by carrying flowers of various colors representing their personal connections to the disease.
Registration for the event opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 4. The promise garden ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. with the walk happening at 10:30 a.m.
The Alzheimer’s Association says money raised at this event will help fund the organization’s care, support and research programs.
