RATHDRUM, Idaho — Lakeland High School in Rathdrum has been awarded a $25,000 prize to go towards renovating their football facilities, and you can help win $1 million.
The prize was awarded through the T-Mobile’s Fright Night 5G Lights program. Lakeland was one of 25 schools around the country to win. The money will toward several projects including repairs to the stadium, accessibility improvements, concession stand updates and replacing field goal posts.
Now your vote can help Lakeland win a $1 million prize.
From now until October 24, head to the Friday Night 5G Lights website and vote for Lakeland with one vote allowed a day. More than 30 schools from Idaho and 60 from Washington are entered.
“A million-dollar investment through the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights program would be absolutely transformational for Lakeland High School,” said Lakeland High School Principal Jimmy Hoffman. “For years, our students have worked hard, competed with pride, and represented our community with grit and determination, often without the benefit of the facilities and resources that many other schools take for granted.
