CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday it has found human remains believed to be those of Travis Decker, the man accused of killing his three young daughters.
CCSO said in a press release the remains were found during a search conducted this week in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth.
“While positive identification has not yet been confirmed, preliminary findings suggest the remains belong to Travis Decker,” said CCSO.
The Sheriff’s Office is in contact with the Decker family and said it is working to provide support and updates as the investigation continues.
Decker is accused of killing his three young daughters, 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn and 5-year-old Olivia in June 2025 after failing to return them to their mother’s house following a scheduled visit.
Their bodies were found near the Rock Island Campground, 17 miles from Leavenworth.
CCSO said it will provide more updates as they become available.
