SPOKANE, Wash. — Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, a perfect time to get out and register to vote!
Eligible Washingtonians have multiple options when registering to vote. Voter registration is available online at VoteWA.gov, in-person by completing a registration form at a county elections office, or by mailing a completed voter registration form to a county elections office.
The deadline for registering to vote online or by mail is Monday, Oct. 27, for the November General Election. If eligible individuals miss the online and mail-in deadline, they can still register to vote up until 8 p.m. on Election Day by visiting a county elections office.
The Spokane County Elections Office is located at 1033 West Gardner Avenue. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“The Office of the Secretary of State is committed to reducing barriers to civic participation and encouraging Washingtonians to get their voice heard,” Secretary of State Steve Hobbs said. “Every election is a chance to advocate for your community.”
More information about voter eligibility is available on the voter eligibility website.
