SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Bring the whole family to a day of firefighting fun at the Spokane Valley Fire Department’s annual Fire and Life Safety Open House.
This free event is happening on Saturday, September 27 at SVFD’s brand-new training center located at 18903 East Garland Avenue.
It runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for families with special needs and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the general public.
The event will feature live firefighter demos, give people the chance to sit inside a fire engine and helicopter and meet your favorite firefighters.
There will also be a free lunch and snacks at the event.
