CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – Immediate evacuations have been issued for the Stayman Flats Fire burning near Lake Chelan.
Chelan County Emergency Management issued Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations for the areas of Hawks Meadow Road, Chukar Run, Dove Hollow Road, Big Sage Lane, Hawks Ridge Road, Columbia Rim Road, Downie Canyon Road, Chelan Butte, Little Butte and Butte Ranch Road.
Officials say there is a specific and immediate threat to life and safety of people in the evacuation area.
A Level 1 (Be Ready) fire advisory has also been issued for Waterslide Drive and surrounding areas.
