BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho — Air crews rescued an injured hiker near Sandpoint on Wednesday afternoon.
On August 13, rescuers from Two Bear Air Rescue were dispatched to an injured hiker on Harrison Peak, a popular hiking spot north of Sandpoint.
Rescuers were able to find the hiker and her partner and inserted a Rescue Specialist.
The rescuer assessed the injured hiker, provided treatment and hoisted her into the rescue helicopter.
She was flown to Sandpoint for further treatment.
