PULLMAN, Wash. — Come join a day of fun at the National Lentil Festival this Saturday in Pullman!
The National Lentil Festival is taking place on Saturday, August 16 from noon to 10 p.m. in Reaney Park.
You will be able to see sports tournaments, the Grand Parade, live music and much more!
Sports tournaments begin at 9 a.m. and the Grand Parade will start at 11 a.m. on Main Street. The festival itself opens at noon.
There will also be cooking demonstrations and visits from mascots Tase T. Lentil, Dan D. Pea, Chelsea Chickpea and even WSU’s own Butch T. Cougar!
Children will be able to get their faces painted, do fun crafts, and possibly even learn how to juggle.
Bring the whole family and don’t forget to grab your free bowl of lentil chili from the world’s largest chili bowl.
