KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is planning a special 9/11 memorial ceremony in Coeur d’Alene next month.
On Thursday, September 11, KCSO, along with Black Sheep Sporting Goods, will host a September 11th Memorial Ceremony at the Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene.
The event will be held in remembrance of all the citizens and first responders lost in the September 11th attacks 24 years ago.
“As we move forward as a country, we will never forget their sacrifices and continue to honor them” wrote KCSO in a press release.
The event is free and open to all.
Those who are, or were, in uniformed service, including retired veterans, are encouraged to dress for the occasion.
The event will take place at 11 a.m. at Silver Lake Mall (200 W. Hanley Avenue).
