LATAH COUNTY, Idaho — Level 3 “GO NOW” fire evacuations have been issued for residents along Driscoll Ridge to Sumner Road, Bartho Lane, and Lamb Road need to evacuate now.
Updated on 3:24 p.m. : A rapidly spreading wildfire near Troy has prompted mandatory evacuations for 63 addresses as the Lamb Fire grew to 50 acres Sunday afternoon.
Latah County Sheriff Deputies are going door-to-door to notify residents of the evacuation orders. Woodland firefighters are actively working to contain the blaze.
Officials are urging the public to avoid the fire area to allow emergency responders access to conduct suppression operations.
