POST FALLS, Idaho — Next week, crews in Post Falls will return to the neighborhoods that were chip-sealed last month to apply a final layer to the roadway.
This fog seal layer will help protect the road and give it a fresh, dark black finish. This work will begin the week of August 11.
The city says advance notice will be given via door tags or reader boards in affected areas.
People living in the area are asked to remove all vehicles from the street between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on their scheduled day. Vehicles left in the street may be towed.
If trash day falls on the same day as the Fog Seal, people can place their bins behind the curb instead of in the street.
Also, make sure to avoid watering the street since wet roads can’t be sealed.
