FORD, Wash. — Two 17-year-old boys died in a crash on Ford Wellpinit Road near Ford Monday morning.
According to Spokane Tribal Police, the teens were driving on the road around 6:30 a.m. Monday. The vehicle had gone off the roadway and down a 25-foot embankment, striking a large tree at the bottom.
Spokane Tribal Police said both teens attended Wellpinit High School and lived on the Spokane Indian Reservation.
The names of the victims will not be released out of respect for the families.
