SPOKANE, Wash. — If you or someone you know has a connection to the struggles of substance abuse and recovery, check out West Spokane Wellness Partnership’s upcoming community event.
On August 16, WSWP will host the ‘Healing Hands and Creative Hearts’ event. The free, family-friendly community event is meant to raise awareness about overdoses and bring together elements of art, wellness and recovery.
“Whether you’re on a healing journey, supporting a loved one, or a community member who cares, this is a space for you,” reads a description about the event.
The event will feature a gallery show, crafts, and helpful resources.
West Spokane Wellness Partnership is a community organization that promotes community health and works to reduce and prevent substance abuse in West Spokane.
The event will take place Saturday, August 16 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Central Library (906 W. Main Avenue.)
