SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol suspects a Spokane Valley woman of being under the influence in a crash Wednesday morning.
According to WSP, a bicyclist was riding north on Indiana Avenue when she ran a red light and was hit by a westbound vehicle around 4:30 a.m.
The 24-year-old woman on the bike was taken to an area hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
WSP says the driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Stephanie Elseroad, was suspected of being under the influence at the time.
The road was closed for several hours for the investigation.
