ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. — A man was arrested for stabbing his partner during a domestic violence dispute in Adams County on Tuesday evening.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Gilberto Valdovinos-Medina is accused of stabbing his partner on South Thacker Road around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a stab wound. Valdovinos-Medina had fled the area in the victim’s car before deputies could arrive.
The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement agencies around the region, found Valdovinos-Medina hiding inside a home in Grant County and took him into custody without incident.
Valdovinos-Medina was booked into jail for first-degree assault, felony harassment and first-degree robbery charges.
