HAYDEN, Idaho — A small plane crashed near a home under construction in Hayden on Sunday morning, according to Northern Lakes Fire Protection District.
Around 10 a.m. on July 27, NLFPD responded to a report of an aircraft emergency near Lancaster Road and Genesis Boulevard in Hayden.
NFLPD said a small, single engine plane made an emergency landing on a newly paved road near a home under construction.
The plane landed on the road and skid into a nearby empty lot.
The pilot and two passengers were able to get out of the plane uninjured before it caught fire.
NLFPD and other fire departments responded to put out the flames.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
