POST FALLS, Idaho — A man was arrested following a standoff with police on Riverside Harbor Drive in Post Falls Friday afternoon.
According to the Post Falls Police Department, officers received orders from a judge to remove 28-year-old Benjamin Turpin from a home on Riverside Harbor Drive.
Police arrived shortly before 4:30 p.m. to serve the order.
When officers told Turpin to come outside, he ran into the house and barricaded himself inside.
Officers surrounded the house and arrested Turpin on the upper floors of the home.
Turpin was booked into Kootenai County Jail for resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
